Overview
The AFC team is accountable for protecting Deutsche Bank from financial and reputational losses incurred by financial crimes by assessing, controlling and mitigating risks. The Financial Crime Operations (FCO) Training team is responsible for the training program developed to support the FCO investigation teams. The Training Associate is responsible for the development and facilitation of certain training as well as performs administrative duties. You will be responsible for design and development of training content. In addition, you will be expected to facilitate training to new joiners and existing staff.

• Keep up to date on any new rules, regulations and reputational risks and recommend new training and/or revisions to existing training; Understand business and regulatory requirements and ensure training content is compliant
• Maintain a thorough comprehension of internal AML typologies relating to Correspondent Banking, Private Banking and Investment Banking clients
• Understand complex investigations involving matters such as multiple relationship accounts, tiered and multi-faceted transactions; international wires involving Deutsche Bank designated high risk jurisdictions, and complex structuring schemes to identify potential money laundering or other financial crimes
• Utilize internal and external sources and partner with other stakeholders as necessary to create new and maintain existing training courses
• Design and develop training content and solutions to support instructor-led, self-directed or blended classroom training models as required; Facilitate training to new joiners and existing staff either in a classroom or virtual setting and determine appropriate training solutions for assigned project, based on analysis of business needs, performance goals, and audience
• Work with subject matter experts to validate content, Create training assessments, Maintain complete and accurate training records, and Work with the FCO Training Lead and Senior Investigations Manager to meet department objectives Skills You'll Need
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree; AML investigator in a transaction monitoring and SAR writing capacity or equivalent experience or education
• Strong knowledge of AML laws (USA PATRIOT Act), Regulations (Fed, SEC, FINRA) and their application to the supported products/business lines
• Correspondent Banking, Private Banking or Investment Banking experience; Working knowledge of effective internet search techniques
• Operational knowledge of USD payment systems, including SWIFT, CHIPS, ACH, and Fed Funds; Knowledge with Case Management System, Actimize / Mantas
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Experienced knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables, macros, filtering, and sorting Skills That Will Help You Excel
• A good team player displaying strong personal skills with the ability to manage the team's workload and your own; CAMS certification is a plus
• Excellent at drafting, writing and delivering oral communications skills and Meticulous, displaying a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask; Relevant years of experience in course development and facilitation a plus
• Able to demonstrate excellent analytical, judgment, and research skills; Familiarity with learning and development methods and adult learning principles a plus
• Able to identify, escalate and communicate issues to management in an effective and succinct manner; Able to demonstrate effective decision making and strong problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and accurately prioritize workload with minimal supervision; Highly proficient with public speaking Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $75,000 to $110,750. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
